The research and innovation support activities of our Group are conducted at large Infrastructures, often shared with other Departments of Politecnico di Torino or with partner institutions, and dedicated to specific themes or technologies/skills: micro/nanotechnologies and quantum technologies (PiQuET), packaging (Chilab-ITEM), power electronics (PEIC), biomedical and health (PoliTo-BioMedLab and D34Health), sustainability, energy transition and circular economy (iENTRANCE, CO2 Circle Lab, SEASTAR).

Booth 04 | ORSAY PHYSICS
With more than 30 years of experience and leadership in the charged optic’s particles field, ORSAY PHYSICS is the world leader in customized Focused Ions Beams (FIB) columns, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) as well as associated equipment such as Gas Injection Systems (GIS), Secondary Electron Detectors (SED), or Time of Flight SIMS (TOF-SIMS) or a fully integrated and modular UHV FIB-SEM system, called NanoSpace. Recently, ORSAY PHYSICS launched officially its new dedicated implantation tool, called QuiiN, which includes an in-situ heating stage. This new innovative solution gives access to a wide range of species for the implantation application.

SENTECH Instruments, based in Berlin-Adlershof, was founded in 1990. All our systems and tools are developed, manufactured, and shipped worldwide from our Berlin site. Our teams of application, research and development, technical service, and sales experts are located in Berlin. SENTECH is continuously working to expand its product portfolio and global sales and service network. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and now employs over 120 people.
The SENTECH plasma product family provides highly effective solutions for many leading-edge optoelectronic-based applications. The SENTECH SI 500 D ICPECVD system can be used for effective trench filling for Micro LED applications often used in flat panel devices.
The ICP-RIE plasma etch system with the PTSA source SI 500 offers a highly selective and low-damage etch with accurate endpoint detection of vertical and tapered GaAs-based VCSELs. The SENTECH SI 500 ICP-RIE System equipped with the Planar Triple Spiral Antenna (PTSA) 200 enables low-damage etching of GaN- and InP-based devices to structure waveguides and microlenses. Microlenses offer extremely efficient light extraction in LED fabrication or can be used for focussing light. Smooth, vertical, low-loss waveguides and facets for light coupling were also demonstrated in SiN and SiO.
Additionally, the SENTECH SI 500 enables a new level of MEMS functionality, for leading-edge applications including AlN and AlScN piezo MEMS etching, and the SENTECH SI 500 D for the high-quality, precise stress-controlled ICPECVD of Si3N4 and SiO2 deposition.
The SENTECH low-damage plasma processing capabilities provide leading-edge solutions for challenging SiC-based devices, AlGaN/GaN for HEMT devices and High-K dielectrics as gate materials as well as many applications in power electronics and high-frequency rf devices.

Technical summary
Super Inkjet technology is an advanced inkjet micro-deposition technology.
It allows for ultra-precision printing down to the sub-micrometer scale by producing ultra-microscopic droplets which are 1/1000th of the volume of conventional inkjet droplets.
We have experience in using a wide range of functional fluids such as conductive ink, insulating ink, resist ink, UV ink, solvent ink, protein material, etc.
