Getting to Montpellier

Montpellier

Montpellier has it all: medieval alleyways ideal for shopping, new districts combining natural spaces and buildings signed by the greatest architects, designer tramways signed by Christian Lacroix.
A land of the South, a city of heritage and contemporary treasures, Montpellier is a Mediterranean crossroads, a destination of character and exception. With its medieval origins, the city’s narrow streets, the Place de la Comédie, the Faculty of Medicine and the Place Royale du Peyrou attract visitors from all over the world. It’s also a modern metropolis, open to architecture, science, contemporary culture and leisure.

Montpellier also boasts many other assets.  An unspoilt region, with a variety of landscapes ranging from the sea (11km away) to vineyards and mountains. A typically Mediterranean way of life. Sun-drenched gastronomy and wines. Exceptional cultural and sporting events… Not to mention the thirty communes of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole and the region’s must-see sites.
