Elsevier journal “Micro and Nano Engineering” | MNE 2024 Special Issues - Call for Paper
Elsevier journal “Micro and Nano Engineering” features four Special Editions dedicated to MNE 2024 conference. These special issues are open to original work presented during MNE 2024 conference, but we also encourage original submissions that match the issues’ scope from colleagues who did not have a chance to participate in the conference.
Accepted papers will be available on ScienceDirect as OPEN ACCESS papers WITHOUT article processing charges. This is a special agreement between iMNE Society and MNE journal.
We also encourage submission of review or opinion papers from invited and plenary speakers and from all colleagues experts in a field. Those interested to submit such type of paper may contact the Editor in Chief to: e.gogolides@inn.demokritos.gr with a short proposal outlining the scope, timeliness, importance of the review.
The four Special Editions mirror the scientific tracks of MNE2024 and are listed below.
- Micro-Nano Fabrication Methods 2024 (VSI: NanoProcess 2024)
- Fabrication and Integration of Micro-Nano Structures into Devices and Systems 2024 (VSI: NanoSystems 2024)
- Sustainability and Environmental Applications of Micro and Nano Engineering 2024 (VSI: NanoEnvironment 2024)
- Micro and Nano Engineering for Life and Analytical Sciences 2024 (VSI: NanoBio 2024)
MNE journal and Elsevier will waive the open access fee for all accepted articles in this Special Issue, ensuring the widest possible dissemination of your work.

Manuscript Submission Deadline: April 30, 2025
The journal submission platform, Editorial Manager®, is now open for this Special Issue. Please select the article type “Special Issue Short Name_Review or Regular or Opinion paper” when submitting your manuscript online. Please follow the Guide for Authors.
